    To secure quality rental homes in Taupo from B & W Rentals there is a process we have to follow, but we aim to make it as simple as possible.  You will be required to prove you can pay your rent each week, look after a rental property, and you will report any problems with the home in a timely manner.

    Collect a copy of our Tenant Handbook.  It includes useful information for you as a tenant.  The handbook also outlines your obligations as a tenant of a residence managed by B & W Rentals.

    Use our website to apply for a tenancy and to find the various forms you may need during your tenancy.

    • B & W Rentals will schedule and attend all viewings with prospective tenants (unlike some agencies which let prospective tenants take the keys and view the property alone).
    • We offer Saturday open homes on selected properties to ensure that prospective tenants are able to view your property when it’s convenient to them.
    • A 24 hour on call service is available on the weekends to address emergencies that may arise at your rental property.

  • If something does go wrong with the property you are renting then it needs to be fixed.  Fill out the maintenance request (below) and we will sort out your problem.  If it is urgent or causing damage to the property contact us immediately by phone.

    We undertake inspections every 3 months.  We will let you know in advance when we want to inspect your rental.  We will try to accommodate your wishes regarding a mutually suitable time.
